The restoration of the First United Methodist Church Statesboro is the restoration of a sanctuary built in 1958.  the project incorporated upgrading the interior , the audio and lighting package of the sanctuary with a complete roof & mechanical system replacement.  The restoration also included removal and installation of new mortar over approximately 50% of the historic building’s façade, removal and resetting the cap stones at the parapet walls, replacing all of the slate roof and copper flashing, the repairing of interior plaster and refinishing interior wood work.
